than at famous Pebbly Beach, just south of Ulladulla.
In Milton, stroll around and take in the country town
atmosphere enjoying fascinating antique shops and

studios.
There
are many wonderful havens and secret places scattered
throughout the district; beaches and lakes and rivers
favoured by enthusiasts of surfing, snorkeling, sailing,
boating, bush-walking, camping and fishing. Keep on the
lookout for the whales at Mollymook and Narrawallee
beaches from August to November.
The Morton and Budawang National Parks and numerous other
forests virtually edge the sea with a narrow ribbon of
undulating pastoral settlements occasionally breaking
where the blue of the sea meets the green wilderness.
Only 30 minutes drive from Ulladulla, one can enjoy half
or whole day bush-walks on Pigeon House Mountain, the
Castle or the Budawangs. Alternatively, there are more
leisurely coastal walks alongside reflective lakes where
pelicans and other seabirds glide over calm waters.
The
views from the mountaintops are unsurpassed, taking in
impressive vistas over deep canyons and east to the
sparkling azure of the ocean. The Coastline offers many
secluded and safe beaches with soft white sand, crystal
clear water and endless strolls investigating sandstone
sea ledges and fascinating rock pools.

Finding Ulladulla's Motel Harbour Royal is easy. Just
turn east (ie left if you are approaching from the north
or right if from the south), off the Princes Highway at
the traffic lights in the centre of town, into Wason
Street. Take the first turn right into Burrill Street and
you're there.
